Role & responsibilities Business Division Plastic Unit / Location Kolkata Level senior Designation General Manager Sales Department Sales & Marketing (EPE) Reporting to Director Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the EPE Foam and Mattress industry covering west bengal, pan india market,handling both trade and non trade sales. Should be open for travelling. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients. Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to increase sales and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them Ensure that company policy are met by holding daily check-ins with consignees, distributors and direct key customers to set objectives and monitor progress Functional Competencies Domain Knowledge: Demonstrates mastery in selling skills and in-depth understanding of market dynamics in Maharashtra Proven experience as a Trade Sales Manager or similar role in the Demonstrates understanding of the industry and consumer preference trends Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Computer Proficiency: Demonstrates basic knowledge of computer applications Leadership Competencies Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and lead a sales team and Preferred Leadership Competencies of BDG Group Education Any Graduate Experience 15+ years Age 45-52 years Industry Preference Foam & Mattress, Plywood, Adhesive, Paints, Industrial Items CANDIDATES WITH 30 DAYS TO 45 DAYS NOTICE PERIOD CAN APPLY FOR THIS ROLE.
