Job Description Job Role: Technical Officer Job Role ID SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE JOB ROLE Job Role Variant: Technical Officer Manager Job Position: Marine Chief Port Engineer Job Position ID Value Stream: Asset Maintenance Job Family: Manufacturing Sub-Job Family: Marine Grade/Level Location: SECTION II: JOB ROLE SCOPE Number Of Direct Reportees Financial Metrics (Budget, Revenue, etc.): Number Of Indirect Reportees Geographic Scope (Global, Regional, Domestic - mention countries in scope): Domestic SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Material Planning, Maintenance Scheduling, and safe execution of maintenance activities of Tugs, SPMs & associated offshore pipelines, Diving System & Jetty Offshore Structures to ensure asset availability for hydrocarbon movement. SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE Responsibilities Policies, Processes and Procedures Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner Keep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures Asset Integrity Management Marine facilities PM planning, scheduling and day to day monitoring. Condition monitoring of critical equipment's. Field quality execution for non-routine, shutdown and dry docking activities. History capturing of the PM, Shutdown and dry docking activities. Prepare Revenue and Capex budget in line with the Annual Operating Plans. Updation of Safe Maintenance procedures, Risk Assessments and PM Task Lists in line to latest OEM & Statutory guidelines. Spares & Services planning for the activities planned in Annual Operating Plans. Ensure that marine assets are kept in class throughout. Ensure all activities are executed in compliance to site HSEF procedures and Contractor Safety Management. Bunker consumption monitoring against the set norms. Material master data management. SECTION V: SUCCESS METRICS PM Compliance Budget Compliance Asset Availability for Operations. Statutory Compliance Innovation & Improvement SECTION VI: OPERATING NETWORK Internal: Marine Operations Team, HR, Finance, Legal, Health & Safety etc. External: Vendors, Regulatory bodies etc. SECTION VII: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES Education Qualifications B.E. Mechanical or Class IV Marine Engineer. Experience 0-3 years of experience in Port Facility Maintenance e.g Tugs, SPM, Jetty Structures & Offshore Pipelines Functional / Behavioral Competencies Required To Execute The Role FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Maintenance & Inspection of Marine & Offshore Facilities (Beginner Knowledge Level) SAP PM & MM Module (Intermediate Knowledge Level) MS Office (Intermediate Knowledge Level) IACS Rules & Regulations (Beginner Knowledge Level) Dry dock of floatilla (Beginner Knowledge Level) BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Team Player Managing multiple priorities.
