Description
Requirements Motivated Problem Solver Hands-on experience designing on-premise hosted solutions with industry best practices for reliability, network security, and system performance. Creative and innovative mindset with interest to create interative applications for engineering clients by combining on-premise servers, front end React graphics, Next.js from conceptual user requirements. Server Deployment and Management, Networking On-premise server setup and maintenance for app hosting, through remote access Experience with server virtualization management using hypervisors such as Windows Server, VMware ESXi Experience with software containers and Docker System and Security documentation Authentication and Security Experience with Authentik System cybersecurity and hardening experience and technologies such as: Proxy servers, reverse proxy, Nginx Port security Antivirus, firewalls VPNs Perform security audits and scanning, interpret results, and perform system patching of identified vulnerabilities Scripting and automating repeatable tasks, alerts, and software start-up after server reboots Experience in backup and recovery of physical and virtual environments Code version management using Github Javascript Web Application Programming and Development Experience: Next.js NextAuth, TailwindCss TypeScript UI libraries such as Radix, React.js, Charting libraries such as Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts.js, plotly, heatmap.js 3D animation libraries such as three.js HTML5, CSS Python SQL Data integration with other software via custom API Data Formats REST API experience (connect to data, push data out) Json, Zinc, Trio, CSV SQL Database Design and Management-MS SQL Server, Azure Database Server Operating Systems and Environments Windows Linux Computer Science/ Computer Engineering, or related degree Good written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills Remote position requiring coordination with international team in US and Asia time zones.
