Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team. This role plays a crucial part in driving cost optimization projects, enhancing supply chain processes, and implementing controls to support business expansion. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in supply chain strategy, cost efficiency, and process improvement, with a keen eye for identifying and executing cost-saving opportunities while ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Cost Optimization Efficiency Improvement Identify, evaluate, and execute cost-saving initiatives across procurement, warehousing, logistics, and production. Benchmark costs with industry standards and optimize supplier negotiations. Reduce logistics and distribution costs through process improvements and route optimization. Lower material and conversion costs through better sourcing, supplier management, and operational efficiency. 2. Process Development Control Implementation Establish robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency. Implement inventory management controls to reduce waste, obsolescence, and working capital investment. Develop a structured demand planning and forecasting framework for inventory optimization. Strengthen procurement governance to drive transparency and efficiency. Introduce digital tracking tools for better supply chain visibility and decision-making. 3. Supplier Vendor Management Identify and onboard cost-effective suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and logistics. Negotiate contracts that ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations for compliance and continuous improvement. 4. Business Expansion Supply Chain Readiness Align supply chain strategies with business growth and market expansion plans. Evaluate new distribution models and third-party logistics partnerships. Collaborate with RD and production teams to streamline new product launches. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration Reporting Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with business goals. Develop and present cost optimization insights and reports to senior leadership. Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all supply chain processes. Key Qualifications Experience 5-8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations (preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing). Strong expertise in cost reduction strategies, process improvement, and supply chain analytics. Experience in vendor negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems for supply chain management. Ability to implement and monitor KPIs for cost efficiency and process effectiveness. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Bachelors or Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
