Job Description

Role & responsibilities The purpose of this role is to oversee national fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance. Lead strategic planning, maintenance, and performance management to enhance fleet productivity and sustainability. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement fleet management strategies aligned with business objectives, including vehicle acquisition, replacement, and disposal. Build strategic partnership with OEMs, develop basic infrastructure or stations for preventive and operational level maintenance, tyre management, spare, lubricants just in time to improve uptime. Budget Management: Manage the fleet budget, including vehicle costs, maintenance, fuel, and other related expenses. Maintenance and Repair: Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and costs. Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve fleet efficiency, such as telematics, GPS tracking, and electronic logging devices (ELDs). Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost-saving measures across all areas of fleet operations. Performance Measurement: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal fleet performance. Role future Scope: Company owned 3000 LNG and EV 40-ton payload capacity trucks. Critical & Analytical Thinking: Applies expert-level analytical insight to identify root causes, assess risks, and craft innovative solutions. Preferred candidate profile Graduate (MBA Operations preferred). 18+ years of experience in (Operations / Fleet management). Proven track record in fleet management, maintenance & repair. Identification of upcoming technologies for implementation in process. Collaborate with key stakeholders for strategic planning & budget management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
