Job Title: Inventory Control & Stock Audit Executive Department: Internal Audit / Inventory & Warehouse / Depot Compliance Location: Delhi Reporting to: Internal Auditor / Depot Manager Experience: 1–4 years Industry: FMCG / Manufacturing / Trading Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent), On-Site Job Summary We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytically strong Inventory Control & Stock Audit Executive to join Ramsons Perfumes Private Limited. This role plays a critical function in conducting physical inventory verification, reconciliation with ERP systems, and auditing internal processes across warehouses and depots in India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and a strong understanding of stock control best practices. Key Responsibilities Conduct physical stock audits and inventory verification across company depots and godowns. Reconcile physical inventory with: Depot Manager stock records Tally ERP9/Prime system stock balances Identify and report on stock variances, inventory shrinkage, expiry, damage, pilferage, and unrecorded movement. Evaluate the condition of goods, shelf life, packaging standards, and storage issues. Review and audit: Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) Stock inward/outward registers Dispatch logs and bin cards Collaborate with Depot Managers, Accounts, Sales, and Procurement to streamline stock reporting. Analyze stock transactions, material movement logs, and cycle counts. Report non-compliance or lapses in inventory controls, FIFO/LIFO practices, and SOPs. Assist in conducting surprise checks, spot verifications, and monthly/quarterly stock closures. Prepare clear, concise, and actionable stock audit reports, MIS reports, and exception summaries. Support internal audit teams during financial audits, forensic reviews, and inventory risk assessments. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. 1–4 years of relevant experience in: Inventory control / Stock audit Warehouse inventory management Internal auditing or reconciliation roles Working knowledge of Tally ERP9/Prime, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.), and ideally WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Strong analytical, documentation, and reconciliation skills. Good understanding of logistics, GRN processing, stock adjustment, and inventory accounting principles. Strong communication skills (English & Hindi); regional language is a plus (Bengali for Kolkata Depot. Desirable Competencies: Prior experience in FMCG, Perfumes/Cosmetics, or Manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with inventory aging reports, dead stock analysis, and stock optimization techniques. Knowledge of internal audit methodology, risk control matrices (RCM), and compliance protocols. Understanding of inventory KPIs such as stock turnover, accuracy %, and damage/loss rates.
