Job Description (JD) for the position of SST Teacher in Borivali West, Mumbai , tailored for CBSE, IGCSE, and Cambridge boards (Grades 6–10) : Job Title: Social Studies (SST) Teacher Location: Borivali West, Mumbai Boards: CBSE, IGCSE, Cambridge Grades: 6th to 10th Experience Required: 3 to 5 years Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month Joining: Immediate Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Studies Teacher for Grades 6 to 10, with the ability to deliver curriculum as per CBSE, IGCSE, and Cambridge board standards. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students while fostering a deep understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. Key Responsibilities: Deliver SST lessons aligned with CBSE, IGCSE, and Cambridge curriculum frameworks. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments. Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to enhance student learning. Conduct formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate cross-curricular learning. Organize student activities such as debates, model UNs, and field visits to reinforce concepts. Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and as needed. Participate in school events, training sessions, and professional development programs. Key Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field. B.Ed. qualification is mandatory. Minimum 3 to 5 years of teaching experience in CBSE/IGCSE/Cambridge board schools. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Proficient in digital teaching tools and MS Office.
