You'll be grading essays with a red pen, of course, but you'll also be inspiring curiosity, nurturing critical thinking skills, and encouraging your students to become active and informed global citizens. Who can apply? You've got a degree in Social Studies, History, or some other related field. Basically, you know your stuff! You've already rocked at teaching social studies to a diverse group of students (aka 0-2 years of experience). You're passionate about promoting empathy, respect, and understanding of different cultures and communities. You want to be the BTS of social studies education. You've got a killer sense of humor and creativity to make learning fun and engaging. Roles And Responsibilities Be the ultimate guide! Teach and support students of different ages and abilities. Be the examiner! Prepare students for exams and track their progress to ensure success. Be the boss of fun! Manage classroom behavior and create engaging lessons and curriculum materials. Be the brainiac! Keep up-to-date with subject knowledge and utilize learning resources. Be the wizard! Select and use different resources and equipment to teach. Be the communicator! Keep parents in the loop, collaborate with other professionals, and organize extracurricular activities to enhance learning.
