Site Safety Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Monitor workers performing tasks such as confined space and hot work, ensuring compliance with site-specific Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) safety requirements. Ensure proper work permits are obtained and followed. Keep constant visual and verbal contact with employees. Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions / acts are detected. Ensure use of appropriate PPE and certified safety equipment Maintain safety watch logs and checklist. Report near-misses, incidents, unsafe acts, or conditions, potential hazards to the HSE team. Identify mechanical, Electrical hazards such as moving parts Revolving high-pressure systems and hot work. Ensure emergency exits, first aid stations, and fire extinguishers are accessible and functional. (Project areas) Qualifications: Diploma in Industrial Safety with 0-2 years of experience Good physique to handle all safety equipment (e.g., fire hydrant) Commanding presence with strong communication skills in Tamil / Hindi Basic knowledge of site emergency procedures, first-aid, etc., Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong observation and communication skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and associated risks.
