Description
As a Senior UX/UI Designer Design Systems at our company, you will play a crucial role in building and evolving scalable, accessible, and high-quality design systems that support enterprise digital products. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with product designers to deliver high-quality, consistent design assets, ensuring usability, visual excellence, accessibility, and performance. - Partnering with product design, research, and engineering teams to apply, evolve, and maintain the Design System across digital platforms. - Defining and refining design workflows between the design system team and the wider product design community. - Recommending methodologies, standards, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency within the design system. - Facilitating collaboration across design, engineering, product management, and brand teams to align on goals, priorities, and timelines. - Overseeing design quality assurance (QA) by conducting regular design reviews and providing constructive feedback. - Establishing and enforcing design system governance, including version control, naming conventions, and component documentation. - Evaluating, implementing, and maintaining design tools and systems that improve team productivity and collaboration. - Continuously assessing and optimizing design processes and workflows. - Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment on design goals. - Driving design system adoption through training sessions, workshops, presentations, and evangelism initiatives. - Communicating design system updates and enhancements through documentation and stakeholder presentations. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - 6+ years of professional experience in UX Design, with a strong UI Design specialization. - Proven experience leading the design of design systems and visual languages, supported by a strong portfolio or case studies. - Demonstrated success implementing design processes and workflows that enable design system adoption and contribution. - Strong design leadership and the ability to influence at all organizational levels. - Experience evolving and maintaining brand identity for digital products. - Strong practice of user-centered design methodologies, including user research, usability testing, and feedback-driven design. - Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience linking design outcomes to business goals and company strategy. - Hands-on experience working in Agile development environments. - Proven ability to bridge communication gaps between design, engineering, and product teams. - Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Figma, Miro, Storybook, GitHub/GitLab. Your educational background should include a degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Centered Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
