We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend) to join our Technology team at Clarivate. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments: Bachelor s degree in engineering or master s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS) with good communication and logical skills. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development using Spring Boot. Strong experience in Angular 10+ framework. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices. Proficient in working with Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) as well as NoSQL Good understanding of version control tools like Git. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. It would be great if you also had . . .: Knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. What will you be doing in this role? Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver high-quality products. Create RESTful APIs and integrate frontend and backend services. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Optimize application performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot production issues. Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases to design schemas and write complex queries. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system integrations. Contribute to DevOps efforts and CI/CD pipelines; AWS knowledge is a plus.
