Role & Responsibilities Own the full software development life-cycle: idea → deployment → post-release support Lean teams, thrive in ambiguity, zero-to-one phases Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Java. Build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend systems. Work with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, and product managers. Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: 4–5 yrs hands-on Java/Spring Boot Proven product-from-scratch in start-ups/small teams (not MNC/BFSI) Excellent cross-functional communication Prior consumer-tech/SaaS start-up exp. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in backend Java development. Strong proficiency in Core Java. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Solid understanding of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
