Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Kelambakkam Reports to: Director Salary: ₹4,00,000 - ₹7,00,000 per annum Industry: Manufacturing Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our manufacturing company in Kelambakkam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing. Support the Director in financial planning and strategy. Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards. Qualifications: Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of GST and other tax regulations.
