About the Role The primary role of this function is to analyze, design, develop and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities. Key deliverables include using current programming languages and source code to develop, test, debug complex applications and provide post-production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, DBAs and system administration to define and document technical specifications and schedule. Let’s talk about responsibilities Collaborates with business stakeholders, functional and technical workstream to understand business requirements and translate those requirements into technical solutions. Provides technical leadership and guidance for the incremental addition of new features of Workday HCM solutions. Lead the Design end to end solution for the HCM platform, Workday HCM integrations, reports, and customizations Provides guidance on technical design and implementation best practices for Workday HCM solutions.. Manages technical risks and issues and provides mitigation strategies as needed. Ensure technical alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Keep abreast of new Workday features and functionality providing recommendations to further process improvements Document best practices and operational procedures Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, users, peers, and all levels of management. Adhere to the processes and policies defined by ResMed Quality, Security and IT management Required Skills Bachelor's degree (B.S.); Major or Minor in Information Systems 3+ years experience in a similar role with extensive system knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including: Absence, Advanced Compensation, Integrations, Talent and Recruitment Well-developed root-cause analytical skills with the ability to configure and troubleshoot issues and defects Experience in developing and supporting RAAS, EIB, Connector and simple Studio integrations Experience in managing multiple and competing priorities Excellent non-technical communication To be agile and adaptive - this role is evolving as business needs arise Ability to work flexibility across multiple time zones, as required by the global nature of this role. This role combines People Analytics and HR Technology, turning complex data and manual processes into scalable, actionable insights. You will play a key role in strengthening Resmed’s HR data ecosystem and driving automation that improves how our People teams operate. By streamlining reporting and automating workflows, you’ll help leaders focus more on strategy and less on manual administration. Let’s talk about Responsibilities Data Visualization & Reporting Rebuild Tableau dashboards in Power BI with accurate logic mapping. Design and maintain interactive, high-performance dashboards. Optimize models, apply RLS/security, and ensure data accuracy. Document sources, assumptions, and KPI definitions. Process Automation Automate HR workflows (onboarding, reporting, approvals). Build and maintain Power Automate flows and lightweight Power Apps. Implement monitoring, error handling, and documentation. Governance & Data Quality Apply data governance, privacy, and security standards. Execute UAT and data-quality checks; resolve issues systematically. Preferred Skills Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, HR metrics, and HRIS systems.
