Role & responsibilities: Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate daily UK financial records. Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments. Day-to-day management of accounting software as required. Accounts Payable: Process and manage invoices, bills, and expenses in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders where required. Organise invoices to be approved in to folders. Accurate of nominal coding based on previous invoices or approval. Dext / Hubdoc posting and maintenance where required. Supplier statement reconciliation. Prepare accurate payment runs for approval. Approve scanned invoice accuracy. Reconciliations: Ensure accuracy of banking transaction daily. Reconcile bank balances to ledgers weekly or monthly as required. Reconcile card balances to statements weekly or monthly as required. Communication: Daily communication with Ratiobox account managers. E-mail management and filing as required. Preferred candidate profile 2+ years proven experience in English based Company nominal posting 2+ years experience working on UK bookkeeping software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) 4+ years overall bookkeeping experience Excellent understanding of English reading, writing and spoken Ledger and statement reconciliation experience Ability to learn quickly and prioritize effectively. Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines. Desire to continuously improve work processes to achieve efficiency.
