Role: Process Quality Engineer - Chiller QC

About the role:

Established Quality Assurance professional. Influences process and planning decisions with knowledge and explanations of Quality Assurance policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

• Process quality job role of maintaining highest level of quality through patrol quality,
• Execution of daily Quality checklist to ensure all processes in place.
• Process audit ensuring correctness of data capturing on each Quality Gate.

• Non-confirming material management process.

• Data compilation of process Quality and MIS
• Following QAPs and certifying processes.
• Problem solving for Defects identified on assembly lines and monitoring, drive Q circles
• Process improvement projects resulting in Quality product.
• Issue of Test certificates to customers as per requirement
• Executes Quality Assurance project plans and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
• Reviews and makes recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
• Provides production process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvements.
• Conducts collection and analysis of quality information for the development of quality strategy and programs.
• Reviews and analyzes quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.

Qualification & Skill:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Typically,

  4 to 8 years of

  experience in HVAC, chiller manufacturing, or related engineering operations.
• Experience in Process quality.
• Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
