Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality releases. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain the highest level of software quality. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts based on business requirements. Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality. Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.). Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Collaborate with the development team to understand application features and test requirements. Ensure software meets user expectations and business requirements. Work on test automation scripts (if applicable). Report testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC (Software Development & Software Testing Life Cycle). Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications. Familiarity with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking . Basic understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools is preferred. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit). Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Experience with database testing (SQL knowledge is a plus).
