Quality and Process Engineer

Requirement for: Engineer- Process and Quality

2 to 4 years Experience in any Mechanical Field

BE- Mechanical Engineering

The company engages in Design, Development and Manufacturing Roller drives and conveying products which are Import substitutes or are for niche markets. Techtron believes in building capabilities which will result in Patentable Technologies / Products.

Job Responsibilities

1) Prepare Order Status, Workload, Production Plans, Maintenance Plans.

2) Organize Manpower and Machine for Production and achieve targets.

3) Inventory and Stores Management, Rejection and Waste Management

4) Quality Control Inspection- In- process , inward final inspection and report making.

5) Prepare and submit Production reports (Daily, Weekly and Monthly), Manpower time division reports, QCD reports, WIP Monitoring and other reporting.

6) Testing, Analysing and Reporting on Electro-mechanical products made by Techtron.

7) Provide support for Costing based on project and customer requirement.

8) Purchase Plans based on MRP / Order Status input, Make or Buy decisions.

9) Develop and Define Commodities and Key suppliers, Establish price lists, Define Lead times and other T&C for each supplier.

10) Identify right supplier on QCD basis, Preparation of PO's.

11) Follow-up on materials and ensuring right delivery of materials including Logistics, Management of PO's and ensuring closure, Supplier development including new part development.

12) Logistics Planning and Execution for Raw Materials, Semi-finished parts and Finished products.

Basic Skills Required

• Should know how to study mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge using Microsoft Office.
• Good Communication in English and Tamil.
