Job Title: QlikSense to Power BI Migration Specialist Developer Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled BI Developer specializing in migrating reports and dashboards from QlikSense to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both platforms, demonstrating hands-on experience with end-to-end migration projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead migration activities from QlikSense dashboards and reports to Power BI, ensuring functionality and user experience are maintained or enhanced. Conduct detailed analysis and mapping of QlikSense dashboards, metrics, KPIs, and data models to Power BI. Re-design and optimize visualizations in Power BI, leveraging advanced DAX and Power Query (M). Collaborate with business users and analysts to capture requirements and validate report functionalities. Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports. Ensure data integrity and consistency during migration, performing rigorous testing and validation. Document migration processes, architecture, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and future reference. Provide post-migration support, troubleshooting, and training as necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization. Proven experience migrating dashboards and reports from QlikSense to Power BI. Proficient in advanced Power BI features including DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, security, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience in QlikSense scripting, visualization design, and dashboarding. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and technical teams. Preferred Skills: Experience working in QlikSense and PowerBI Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies. Exposure to agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
