PSA India is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to play a key role in strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture through a combination of policy governance , risk management and security operations . This hybrid position requires a hands-on and collaborative professional who can balance governance and compliance needs with technical oversight of operational controls and processes. Role Description Drive the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and internal controls. Support internal, external, and third-party audits by providing evidence, validating controls, and coordinating remediation actions. Maintain the cybersecurity risk register, coordinate with stakeholders for risk assessments, and track treatment plans to closure. Guide and validate technical teams on implementation of security baselines, secure configuration templates, and infrastructure hardening. Participate in infrastructure and cloud architecture reviews, validate security design elements, and provide recommendations based on risk exposure. Review and advise on network architecture, segmentation strategies, firewall rulesets, and secure zone definitions. Work with engineering teams to review architectural diagrams, deployment plans, and ensure controls are mapped to technical designs. Coordinate and track operational cybersecurity tasks including patch compliance, endpoint health, logging, backup validation, and certificate lifecycle management. Assist business units during security incidents by coordinating initial triage, containment guidance, and post-incident documentation. Collaborate with IT and business leads to embed cybersecurity requirements into project governance, change management, and vendor onboarding. Manage access control processes, conduct periodic reviews, and ensure alignment with least privilege principles. Contribute to the development of security awareness programs and deliver periodic training and communication across functions. 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, risk governance, or audit-aligned operations roles. Hands-on familiarity with network infrastructure, secure architecture principles, endpoint security, and foundational cloud security. Qualifications Information Security and Cybersecurity Governance expertise Experience in infrastructure security, network architecture validation and secure configurations Exposure to internal/external audit processes, compliance tracking, and risk assessments Understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and operational control implementation Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills Cybersecurity and Network Security expertise Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of industry best practices in cyber security Professional certifications such as ISO 27001 LA, CEH, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are preferred.
