PRT English Job Description Job Title :PRT English Reporting Head: Principal Purpose of Job An English teacher is responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension. They are responsible for creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need. A few of the main duties of an English teacher are answering student questions, grading student tests and essays, tracking student progress, and teaching students the importance of English. They also have to communicate to the parents of students. Academic Requirements · Create lesson plans for students · Grade student essays and tests · Ensure that the classroom stays orderly · Encourage students to read out loud in class · Write progress reports for students · Create tests for students · Assign essays and homework to students · Assign books for students to read Other Responsibilities · Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department, Head of Faculty or members of the Senior Leadership Team and any duties that the Principal deems necessary for the effective operation of the school Required Qualification and Experience Bachelor Degree with English or Master Degree in English with B.ED 3 years of teaching experience as a PRT English Comfortable working with students of different levels Great speaking and writing skills Ability to create lesson plans Great interpersonal skills Good grammar knowledge Knowledge about great works of literature Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: total work: 2 years (Preferred)
