Project Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to own ELV and IBMS projects end to end — from site survey and drawing approval through installation, commissioning, handover and final payment collection. The role combines technical depth in fire, security and building systems with strong site planning, documentation and client management.

Key responsibilities Project initiation & approvals

• Prepare project execution documents and approval documents required to start the project.
• Conduct site surveys to assess site conditions before execution.
• Freeze locations of elements as per drawings and obtain client approval on final drawings.
• Obtain site permits and approvals, including height permits, time permits and material unloading permissions.

Engineering & design

• Prepare system architecture as per site conditions, client requirements, tender specifications and NFPA-72.
• Prepare shop layouts of IBMS systems as per tender and customer requirements, and obtain client approval.
• Prepare and implement I/O summaries, cable schedules and ferruling.
• Prepare cable routing layouts and ensure proper cable tagging.
• Prepare and implement graphics design for BMS / IBMS front-end.

Planning & execution

• Forecast the site execution plan and schedule based on the BOQ and completion period.
• Read site conditions and plan the installation schedule accordingly.
• Carry out modifications as per client needs and safety requirements.
• Resolve escalations and challenges raised from sites promptly.
• Prevent theft, material misuse and irrational behavior at site; ensure material accountability.

Documentation & handover

• Prepare datasheets and handover documents for BMS, FAS, PAS, Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Prepare commercial and project documents — BOQ, proforma invoices, delivery challans, commissioning reports and work completion certificates.

Client management & billing

• Communicate project status periodically to all stakeholders and drive effective resolution of issues and barriers.
• Arrange and conduct virtual meetings with clients.
• Maintain healthy, long-term relationships with clients.
• Ensure timely bill clearance and payment collection from end users.

Service & support

• Provide technical support for repair and maintenance of installed equipment.

Required skills & knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of BMS, FAS, PAS, Access Control and CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA-72 and fire alarm design standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and system architectures.
• Hands-on experience preparing BOQs, proforma invoices, delivery challans, commissioning reports and work completion certificates.
• Experience with I/O summaries, cable schedules, ferruling and cable tagging.
• Basic graphics design skills for BMS / IBMS front-end screens.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Project (or similar scheduling tools).
• Comfortable with virtual meeting tools (Google Meet, MS Teams, Zoom).

Qualifications & experience

• B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of experience in execution of ELV / IBMS projects.
• Experience executing banking sector projects or sites is highly preferred.
• Proven record of managing multiple sites, site teams and subcontractors.

• Strong communication and client-handling skills in English, Hindi and Marathi.
• Problem-solver who stays calm under site pressure and escalations.
• Organized, detail-oriented and disciplined with documentation.
• Willing to travel to client sites across India as required.
