Job Description

Title: Projects Engineer EVITAR is looking for a talented and proactive Projects Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. Responsibilities: a. Project Delivery: Work with suppliers and inhouse production teams to make sure that manufacturing schedules are followed and that projects are delivered on time. b. Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in technologies such as CNC, Swiss Turning, VMC, Sheet Metal, Welding, Plastic injection, Electrical Harness, Surface Treatment etc. c. Supplier Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, address issues promptly, and implement improvement initiatives. d. Quality Control: Inspect parts arriving from supplier location for drawings conformity. e. Logistics Support: Assist in planning and managing the transportation of goods to make sure they arrive on time and at the best cost. f. Documentation: Conform to the documentation requirements prescribed per ISO 9001:2015. g. Process Improvement: Suggest and help implement ways to make our supply chain operations more efficient. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the precision engineering components industry. Knowledge of engineering drawings, basic knowledge of different manufacturing processes desired. Knowledge of basic metrological instruments and inspection methods such as Vernier, Micrometres etc.preferable. Ability to travel to various locations with Mumbai, Pune and nearby regions Willing to be proactive and take decisions for project delivery. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹220,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Rotational shift Ability to commute/relocate: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Required) Language: English (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
