Production Manager – EV Manufacturing Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing processes of our electric vehicle (EV) production line . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes while ensuring products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day EV production operations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Develop and implement production schedules, procedures, and workflows. Monitor production KPIs (output, quality, downtime, safety) and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations. Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials. Train and manage production staff, including performance evaluation and workforce planning. Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive measures. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Preferred: Master’s Degree (MTech, MBA in Operations or Supply Chain). Experience Requirements: Minimum 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive or EV industry. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control systems. Experience with ERP systems, production planning, and supply chain management. Proven leadership and team management experience. Familiarity with battery assembly, electric drivetrain systems, or similar technologies is a plus.
