Location: Surajpur, Greater Noida (UP)

Our client is a leading biscuit manufacturer with a well-known national brand (since 1993). We are hiring a Production Head / Manager for their Greater Noida biscuit plant.

IMPORTANT: Only candidates with biscuit manufacturing experience will be considered.

ROLE :

Run day-to-day biscuit production to meet dispatch targets at the right quality and lowest cost. Own line output, efficiency, breakage and wastage, and lead the shop-floor team across all shifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production planning and output - Plan daily, weekly and monthly production line-wise against dispatch targets - Run biscuit lines end to end: mixing, sheeting, rotary/cut moulding, tunnel baking, oil spraying, cooling, cream sandwiching and packing - Manage SKU changeovers with minimum downtime

2. Efficiency and cost - Improve line efficiency / OEE and labour productivity - Control breakage, rework, pack-weight giveaway, and fuel, power and packaging consumption - Reduce conversion cost per tonne

3. Product quality - Hold product to spec: weight, thickness, moisture, colour, bake and texture - Fix process defects (checking, cracking, under/over-bake) with RCA and CAPA - Support GMP, HACCP and FSSC 22000 / BRC compliance with QA

4. People and shop floor - Lead shift in-charges, supervisors, operators and contract labour across 3 shifts - Train and multi-skill the team; maintain discipline

5. Maintenance, safety and reporting - Coordinate preventive maintenance of ovens, moulders and packing machines - Ensure safety and 5S - Daily MIS on production, efficiency, wastage and quality

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - 10-15 years in a biscuit manufacturing plant, with 45 years as Production Manager / Deputy Manager - Hands-on with high-speed biscuit lines: mixing, moulding, tunnel ovens, packing , Proven results on OEE, breakage %, giveaway and cost per tonne
