Job Requirements Position - Sr. Engineer– Production Job Location -Sikkim Watches and Wearables Level - L3/L4 Reporting to- Assembly production Head 1.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervising day-to-day production activity to meet weekly and monthly targets. Identify critical operations at casing which may lead to cumulative defects in quality and provide necessary technical support, training etc., to ensure the production happens with quality desired. Ensure the plan reinforces the loading of the lines based on resources and the capabilities addressed by the lines in-order to increase PCO Initiative productive improvement Analyzing quality issues with responsible agencies and taking CAPA Tool and manpower allocation to production lines to achieve daily targets Manpower Training and skill development Ensuring jigs and tooling requirement Monitor the usage of consumables and ensure the usage is appropriate Capacity utilization through effective load balancing Order lead time monitoring and ensuring closure of orders Initiate internal training on production SOP’s and practices to be followed for 5S, safety and basic maintenance of machines Documentation of day-to-day production data. 2. Job Profile To enable assembly production of casing and ensure the a production targets are achieved as planned alignment as scheduled. Focus on improving productivity – PCO, ensure capacity utilization and build the skills and processes required for handling complexities for future requirements of the plant. 3. Key Deliverables Production targets – achieve 100% and above. PCO – Improvement. OLT – Order lead time reduction. Capacity utilization of the shop floor – maximum load balancing [nil idling] Quality – FTA & yield – consistent for all category of product. COQ – reduction on process rejection for all the premium models Cost of consumables – reduction Process certainty for productivity and quality MIS reports in real-time with accuracy Work Experience Be-tech in Mechanical Engineering with Experience- two to three years or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Experience- Four to five years Knowledge of Qc toot. Six-sigma, RCA - Analytical Problem solving & technically sound Production and process planning Good Manpower handling skills, Teamwork & Team building Good verbal and written communication Expert in Report making – Word, Excel, and Power point
