Review approved ICT/ELV drawings, specifications, schematics, riser diagrams and Bills of Quantities for completeness, quantity accuracy and procurability before pricing.
Verify system architecture against BOQ line items, including device counts, loop loading, PoE budgets, storage calculations, port counts, rack space, battery and UPS sizing, cable lengths and containment.
Identify items commonly omitted at design stage (software licences, SFP modules, patch cords, rack accessories, power supplies, interfaces, integration modules, spares, testing, commissioning and training) and raise them with the design team before pricing is finalised.
3.2 Estimation, Pricing and Tendering
Prepare priced and detailed BOQs for ICT/ELV scope, covering supply, installation, testing, commissioning and commercial terms.
Prepare enquiry packages for suppliers and specialist subcontractors with clear scope, specification, drawings and exclusions.
Respond to bid clarifications on ICT/ELV scope and support tender pricing.
