Process Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer – Gauge & PPAP Activities Location: Pune – Chakan Experience: 2–5 Years Preferred Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Automobile Job Responsibilities: Participate actively in Design Review Meetings and ensure timely inclusion of feedback in the final drawings. Verify final released drawings to confirm all design inputs have been incorporated. Prepare Gauge Plans for new model development. Design gauges as per project requirements and specifications. Coordinate and follow up for Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of gauges from suppliers. Carry out gauge verification, coding, and master list updates . Perform analysis of NG (Not Good) parameters observed in SOP layout. Review DVPR (Design Validation Plan and Report) and coordinate with IT for seamless transfer of assemblies to testing via SAP . Handle Customer PPAP activities till PSW (Part Submission Warrant) receipt. Follow up with concerned departments for closure of issues raised by customers during PPAP audits/runs. Analyze problems reported by satellite plants and support issue resolution. Manage change control , prepare breakpoint sheets , and communicate changes to customers. Maintain control over calibration activities of all instruments and gauges. Desired Skills: Strong knowledge of gauge design & PPAP documentation Familiarity with SAP system Excellent coordination and cross-functional communication Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience in quality tools & audit processes Note: Immediate joiners preferred. Only candidates with relevant experience in gauge design, PPAP, and automotive quality processes will be considered.
