Purpose of the positionEnsure plant locations are operating in a safe manner at its best efficiency point, in sync with business need and in compliance with internal and external regulations.The position holder will be responsible for Leading, directing, and overseeing purchasing activities. Import & Export clearance for Project and Raw material and consumables Item and also new vendor development for achieving highest level of Cost benefit for the Company Principal responsibilitiesMaintaining 100 % compliance in SHEQ (Safety Health Environment & Quality) requirements related to Process Safety. Purpose of the positionThis position will lead the Quality function at the Coimbatore Plant, with responsibility for the Quality team. They will be comfortable with management of the multiple projects in a fast-changing environment. Knowledge on special process such as Thermal Spray Coating, NDT & grinding, knowledge on NADCAP checklist requirements for the same will be added advantageExperience in handling Aviation / Automotive customers Knowledge of geometric dimensional inspections & tolerances (GD&T) principlesKnowledge on preparing the quality plan, FMEA, PPAP / FAI documents etc.
