This is not a traditional salaried role: it is a high-ownership opportunity for someone who wants to build and grow alongside us. As an EIR, you will be responsible for driving student sign-ups, company partnerships, and event execution in Surat. You will work directly with the founder and take charge of building Placera’s presence on the ground. Responsibilities Lead outreach to student groups, startups, SMEs, and universities in Surat. Drive sign-ups for students and companies on Placera. Manage and execute Placera events (case competitions, markets, hackathons, etc.) locally. Represent Placera in networking spaces, startup communities, and with incubators. Share weekly progress updates and work asynchronously where needed. Incentives & Equity Structure Commission: Earn % on every company onboarded, sponsorship closed, or student stall/event participation fee collected. Equity Path: Initial 2-month trial agreement. The intern will be responsible for keeping our pages active, engaging, and aligned with Placera’s vision. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and publish 3–5 posts weekly across LinkedIn & Instagram. Design engaging graphics, reels, and carousel content. Ensure consistent brand voice and storytelling. Role Overview The Business Development Intern will help expand Placera’s employer network in Surat and nearby regions by reaching out to local companies, startups, and organizations. This is a results-driven role ideal for students interested in sales, partnerships, or startup growth. Key Responsibilities Identify and reach out to startups, small businesses, and training centers in Surat and surrounding areas. Pitch Placera’s platform to employers and onboard them to post internships or job opportunities. Collect and verify basic employer information (company name, contact details, role description, industry). Coordinate with the Placera operations team for data entry and tracking. Support Placera’s on-ground events or networking initiatives, if applicable.
