The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of film projects and the company’s overall financial operations. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the film/entertainment sector and a strong understanding of production budgets, cost tracking, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting specific to film production. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Prepare, monitor, and update production budgets, cash flows, and cost reports. Handle vendor payments, petty cash, and expense tracking for production and post-production activities. Coordinate with production managers and line producers for cost control and financial planning. Maintain accurate records of production expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations relevant to the film industry. Key Responsibilities Operational & Team Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the office and production activities. Manage and supervise office staff, production assistants, and administrative roles. Ensure all departments are functioning efficiently and meeting deadlines. Planning & Coordination Plan, schedule, and coordinate shoots, meetings, and production timelines. Liaise with clients, directors, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless communication. Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time. Financial & Administrative Oversight Work closely with the accountant and management on budgeting, expenses, and resource allocation. Approve purchases, vendor payments, and production requirements.
