ABOUT US: At Action Against Hunger, we drive change from the ground up, aiming to cultivate a healthier world. Since inception in 1979, our work has impacted the lives of 21 Million individuals through a network of 9,000 humanitarian professionals across 59 countries. In India, our operations from the grassroots upwards, are focused on taking decisive action to create a healthier nation. In India, we are one of the few NGOs focusing specifically on maternal and child health with various nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions. Our teams engage with communities in remote and hard-to-reach areas, identifying and addressing nutritional challenges in children. We empower mothers and families with knowledge and awareness so they can see their children grow up strong and for whole communities to prosper. We operate in 1,312 villages in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ā¢Nutrition Program Management: 1.Ensure alignment with national and international nutrition guidelines and standards 2.Support the design of new programs and initiatives targeting malnutrition. ā¢Technical Support: 1.Develop and review nutrition-related materials, guidelines, and training modules 2.Stay updated on emerging evidence and guidelines, best practices, and policies in nutrition and health. ā¢Research & Evidence Generation: 1.Lead the design, implementation, and dissemination of innovative pilots and research studies focused on nutrition and malnutrition in children. 2.Translate research findings into actionable recommendations to improve program effectiveness. 3.Lead the drafting of research findings and knowledge products for publications, conference proceedings, and technical reports. 4.Identify and pursue research grant opportunities that align with organizational goal. Collaboration & Partnerships: 1.Explore partnership with academic institutions, government agencies, other NGOs and private sector organizations for research. 2.Provide technical input for grant proposals, ensuring alignment with research evidence and organizational goals. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE ā¢Masterās degree in nutrition, Public Health, or related field 2 years of experience in nutrition program management is a must Knowledge of national and international nutrition policies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills COMPETENCIES Research and analysis skills Technical knowledge relevant to development sector (e.g., project management, data analysis) Communication and reporting skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to ā¹500,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend only Work Location: In person
