Job Description

One of our clients in Pune is looking for a proactive and technically sound Manager – Sourcing (NPD) with 5–7 years of experience to drive new product development initiatives. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing for electrical/electronic NPD projects Evaluate and onboard suppliers for PCBs, ICs, connectors, sensors, relays, and more Collaborate with R&D, design, and procurement teams to align sourcing with product specs Manage supplier RFQs, cost negotiations, and timelines Track samples, first article inspections (FAI), and ensure timely prototyping support Ensure compliance with RoHS, CE, ISO, and other industry standards 🎓 You Should Have: Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Supply Chain 5-7 years’ experience in NPD sourcing or procurement in the E&E industry Strong understanding of BOMs, technical drawings, and electronic components Experience with ERP tools (SAP/Oracle/Tally), Excel & PowerPoint Excellent negotiation and vendor development skills ✨ Good to Have: Experience with international sourcing and fast-paced OEM environments Familiarity with quality standards like RoHS, REACH, ISO 9001 📍 Location: Chakan, Pune 📩 Interested candidates can send their profiles to recruiter@feathernine.com.
