Responsible for the operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of Sewage Treatment Plant equipment to ensure efficient and safe wastewater treatment as per environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor all units of the STP, including screens, pumps, blowers, aeration tanks, clarifiers, sludge handling, and disinfection systems. Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on plant equipment (pumps, valves, motors, pipelines, and control panels). Check and record flow rates, pressure, dissolved oxygen, pH, and other parameters; maintain accurate logs and daily reports. Carry out backwashing, desludging, and cleaning of tanks, filters, and diffusers as required. Identify faults, leaks, or abnormal plant operations and report or rectify them promptly. Follow safety procedures while handling chemicals (e.g., chlorine, alum, polymers) and maintain proper storage. Support periodic servicing, calibration, and major maintenance in coordination with the supervisor. Ensure treated effluent meets statutory discharge standards. Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in and around the STP area. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
