As a Consultant in GI, HPB, and Transplant Surgery at a multi-speciality hospital in Bengaluru, your role will involve conducting outpatient clinics, daily rounds on admitted patients in ICU/ward, and being part of the surgical team for HPB surgery and Liver transplantation. You will also be responsible for harvesting cadaveric organs, providing post-operative care, giving pre-operative consultations, developing treatment plans, mentoring junior medical staff, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring the highest standards of surgical practice and patient safety. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct outpatient clinics and daily rounds on admitted patients - Perform HPB surgery and Liver transplantation including organ harvesting - Provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care - Develop treatment plans and mentor junior medical staff - Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for patient care **Qualifications Required:** - MCh/DrNB in GI or HBP surgery - Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills - Ability to develop and manage treatment plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Capability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team - Board certification in Transplant Surgery - Fellowship training in Transplant Surgery (1-2 years) is desirable,
