What This Role Requires Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data transformation and processing. Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to orchestrate and automate data workflows. Migrate on-premises SSIS solutions to Azure SQL Database, SQL MI, or Azure Synapse. Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance in all developed solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. Apply performance tuning techniques to improve query execution and package runtimes. Utilize Azure Databricks for advanced transformation or batch processing where needed, in collaboration with data science teams. Document solutions, perform peer code reviews, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, implementing improvements as needed. Key Skills to Succeed in This Role: Proven experience as an ETL Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience. Excellent exposure in Designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks. Optimize Spark jobs and ensure efficient data processing and storage. Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks, workflows, and dashboards. Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL (stored procedures, triggers, views). Strong experience with SSIS for ETL development, data migration, and data integration. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and data integration patterns. Experience with SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) for designing, testing, and deploying SSIS packages. .5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage / Data Lake, Azure SQL and so on. At least 3 years of exposure or hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, with willingness to deepen expertise. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SSIS packages /ETL pipelines for performance. Monitor and manage data processing jobs to ensure high availability and reliability Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to integrate Databricks with other services. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions Databricks.
