About the role: Mercurius IT is Microsoft Gold Solution Partner and Microsoft Small Business Specialist providing small-medium sized businesses with Microsoft Dynamics solutions and IT Support and Managed Services. We are currently recruiting for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 Functional Consultant to join our CRM team. Reporting to the Dynamics CRM Unit TL, the objective of this role is to take a consultative approach to implement and deliver Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 products and services. Requirement Gathering: Conduct workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders and internal consultants to extract precise business requirements, document product development processes, analyse alternatives, and recommend solutions for software, platform, and network configurations. FRD & Documentation: Prepare, write, and validate Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) and other related documentation. Review and confirm scoping documents, 'as-is' and 'to-be' workflows for client processes. Solution Design: Lead or collaborate in designing Dynamics 365 solutions based on requirements gathered in workshops. Ensure solutions are aligned with client needs, budgets, and business goals. Testing and Quality Assurance: Prepare and review test cases and scenarios, conduct and document functional testing, validate test results, and confirm compliance with requirements. Leadership and Team Management: Guide and mentor functional consultants, allocate resources within projects, monitor team deadlines, and ensure high levels of competence and operational excellence within the delivery team. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for functional discussions, UAT, and post-implementation queries. Deliver client training, demos, and solution walk-throughs. Pre-sales and Consulting Support: Assist sales and pre-sales teams by providing estimations, demos, and solution suggestions. Participate in preparing proposals and engage in strategic consulting to identify new client opportunities. Go-live & Post-implementation Support: Take responsibility for project go-live activities, status reporting, and providing ongoing support for deployed solutions. Continuous Improvement: Develop process improvements for cost effectiveness and time saving. Regularly update industry and technology knowledge, and complete certifications as required. Quality and Risk Management: Ensure risk management and quality control processes are followed and implemented for each project. Prepare weekly project status reports and lead team meetings. Key Functional Skills 1. Business & Process Analysis: Able to interpret and analyse business processes for varied industries. 2. Documentation: Skilled in creating, validating, and reviewing detailed functional and workflow documents. 3. Testing: Proficient in preparing, executing, and reviewing functional test cases and documentation. 4. Client Engagement: Strong client-facing skills for training, demos, and consulting. 5. Leadership: Capable of mentoring and guiding team members, taking accountability for the functional delivery within projects. 6. Collaboration: Works closely with technical and functional leads, architects, and sales teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. 7. Continuous Learning: Pursues ongoing professional development and certifications in Dynamics CRM. Knowledge and Expertise: 1. Over 10+ years Dynamics CRM/365 consultancy experience 2. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics CRM 2016/2015 3. Experience of providing Pre-Sales Demonstrations and preparation. 4. Experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics CRM/365 - (Sales/Customer Service/ Field Service/Marketing/Talent/ Project Operation) 5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills 6. Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills. Person Specification: 1.
