Job Description

YNOT Engineers is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in fabrication and production supervision . The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of fabrication processes, machining, raw materials , and material properties . The role involves interpreting technical drawings , overseeing production, and ensuring quality in every stage. Roles & Responsibilities: Supervise daily fabrication and machining activities on the shop floor. Read and understand technical drawings to guide production. Select suitable raw materials as per project requirements. Have sound knowledge of material properties , grades, and compositions. Be aware of material availability. Oversee sheet metal bending, cutting, welding, machining, and assembly work. Perform regular quality checks (QC) to maintain high standards. Manage and coordinate with production staff and workers . Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Report work progress and production status. Required Skills: 2 to 4 years of experience in fabrication, production, or mechanical supervision . Strong understanding of: Fabrication and machining processes Material selection and handling Sheet metal work and assembly Ability to read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings . Good leadership skills to manage shop-floor workers . Basic understanding of quality control procedures . Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
