Machine Supervisor (With Quality Knowledge)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Supervisor to oversee and manage production operations while ensuring quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 10-12 workers , handling job work, and ensuring the smooth functioning of machines and processes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise machine operators and allocate tasks efficiently to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor machine operations and ensure optimal performance with minimal downtime. Plan and coordinate job work assignments , ensuring timely completion. Ensure adherence to quality standards by conducting in-process and final inspections. Train and guide workers on proper machine handling, safety, and quality requirements. Conduct routine machine maintenance checks and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs. Implement and enforce 5S and lean manufacturing principles on the shop floor. Maintain daily production reports, quality reports, and work progress updates . Collaborate with quality engineers to address defects, implement corrective actions, and improve processes. Ensure proper material handling and inventory management to avoid production delays. Coordinate with external vendors and job work partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of outsourced work. Maintain compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies . Requirements and Skills: 2-4 years of experience as a Machine Supervisor or Production Supervisor . Strong knowledge of machine operations, job work management, and quality control . Experience handling CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, and other mechanical machines . Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of 10-12 workers effectively. Good understanding of inspection techniques, measurement tools, and quality assurance processes . Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues . Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation .
