Looker Developer

You have 5-10 years of experience and will be based in Hyderabad. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Looker dashboards on GCP to ensure they are user-friendly and offer actionable insights. You will create custom visualizations using JavaScript and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. This includes integrating data from various sources with accuracy and consistency. Your responsibilities also include developing and optimizing LookML models for efficient data querying and visualization, implementing data governance, and data management best practices within Looker. You will monitor and optimize the performance of Looker dashboards, troubleshoot issues related to performance and data accuracy, and provide training and support to end-users. Additionally, you will communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, stay updated on the latest trends in data visualization, and identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards and develop new ones. You will manage code changes using version control, validate data using Looker's SQL Runner, and review SQL queries and data structures to maintain data accuracy and integrity within Looker. Your role also involves creating compelling dashboards and visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making, collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure smooth integration between databases and Looker.
