Kozhikode Public Library & Research Center serves as an essential resource for the community, promoting literacy and education. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Library Trainee, located in Kozhikode. The Library Trainee will be responsible for assisting with daily library operations, cataloging books and research materials, helping patrons locate information, managing digital resources, and maintaining the library's organization. Additional duties may include supporting library events, workshops, and public programs. Qualifications Library Operations and Cataloging skills Customer Service and Assistance skills Digital Resource Management and Information Retrieval skills Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a library or educational setting is a plus Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or a related field is preferred Show more Show less
