About the Role M2P Fintech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure maximum performance, reliability, and security. You should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and infrastructure management. What Will You Do in this Role Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Develop and implement network security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance. Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions to support business growth and technological advancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems into the existing infrastructure. Conduct regular audits and assessments of network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network engineering and infrastructure management. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network emergencies as needed. Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures to maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge base. What You'll Need to be Successful in this Role B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management. Expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network environments. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). Hands-on experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs. Strong understanding of cloud networking principles and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
