Role Description Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer – ATG / Fluent Commerce Location: Trivandrum Experience: 6+ Years Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in ATG or Fluent Commerce platforms to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance backend systems that support our client’s e-commerce operations. You will work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and ATG or Fluent Commerce Develop and optimize messaging-based solutions using Kafka, MQ, and AWS Lambda Manage relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DynamoDB Integrate systems and services using App Connect, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and e-commerce middleware Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD Ensure backend systems meet high standards for performance, scalability, and reliability Participate in code reviews, testing, and maintain technical documentation Mandatory Skills Java (Java 8+) – Strong backend development expertise ATG or Fluent Commerce – Proven experience working with either platform Spring Boot – Proficiency with microservices-based architecture Kafka and MQ – Experience in developing event-driven architectures PostgreSQL and DynamoDB – Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases AWS Lambda – Knowledge of cloud-native/serverless services CI/CD – Experience using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills Excellent verbal and written communication in English Good To Have Skills Experience with Oracle database Familiarity with IBM App Connect and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies Prior experience working in global or distributed teams Skills Java,Atg,Microservices Show more Show less
