Description
As a Supply Chain & Distribution Specialist at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Select, onboard, and manage transporters to ensure adequate truck availability - Optimize truck utilization and negotiate freight rates - Manage contingencies during transport disruptions - Plan and execute daily PO dispatch schedules - Ensure FIFO docking and align reverse pickups - Proactively prevent dry-outs or suppressed sales - Manage end-to-end logistics execution issues including loading, decantation, enroute delays, accidents, off-spec material, and quality & quantity discrepancies - Monitor daily and monthly performance of logistics service providers - Handle escalations and drive continuous process and network improvements - Ensure compliance with statutory and safety norms - Support accident and incident investigations - Manage marine insurance and dispute closure - Handle EXIM-related logistics where applicable - Coordinate with sales, terminals, transporters, and HO teams - Ensure timely POD closure and publish accurate logistics MIS reports Qualifications Required: - 3 months to 5 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution - Patience and ability to manage relationships with last-mile logistics partners - Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets - Strong active listening skills and attention to detail - Excellent email writing and verbal communication skills About the Company: Wellversed owns and operates a portfolio of nutrition brands to empower people to attain their most optimal state of wellness.
