Junior Accountant

Department: Accounts & Finance Reports To: Finance Manager / Accounts Head

Job Purpose: To manage routine accounting, statutory records, reconciliations, collections and financial reporting for the company's manufacturing, warehouse, e-commerce and marketplace operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record daily purchases, sales, expenses, payments and receipts.
• Maintain accounting entries in Tally Prime or approved accounting software.
• Prepare sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes and related accounting documentation.
• Maintain ledgers, journal entries and expense records.

Marketplace Reconciliation

• Reconcile marketplace settlements from Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, TIRA and other partners.
• Validate marketplace deductions, commissions, discounts, returns and payment adjustments.
• Track outstanding receivables, overdue invoices and payment follow-ups.
• Reconcile credit notes, debit notes and vendor statements.
• Identify settlement discrepancies and coordinate recovery with account management teams.

Taxation & Compliance

• Support GST return preparation, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and reconciliation with GSTR-2B, as applicable.
• Maintain TDS deduction and payment records.
• Assist with applicable statutory reporting and audit documentation.
• Coordinate with CA and tax consultants.

Financial Control & Reporting

• Prepare bank reconciliations and vendor/customer ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ageing reports.
• Assist with monthly closing, expense analysis and profitability reporting.
• Support inventory valuation and warehouse stock reconciliation.
• Maintain financial documentation for procurement, manufacturing and logistics transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial MIS for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, TDS and MS Excel.
• Experience in e-commerce marketplace settlement reconciliation strongly preferred.
• Accuracy, analytical thinking and good documentation skills.

KPIs: Ledger accuracy, reconciliation completion, statutory compliance timeliness, overdue receivable tracking, month-end closure and accounting error rate.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
