Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with basic accounting knowledge, familiarity with Tally, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare and record journal entries, ledger postings, and vouchers.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform basic bank reconciliation and verify financial transactions.
• Maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and accounting reports.
• Enter and maintain accounting data using Tally.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications for accounting records and reports.
• Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
• Understanding of journal entries, ledger accounts, and vouchers.
• Hands-on experience or basic working knowledge of Tally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively within a team.

Experience

• candidates with relevant accounting experience may apply.

Education

• B.Com in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
