Education: A degree/diploma from top-tier institutes like NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy, or similar — with a focus on Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related fields. Core Expertise: Production Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of the end-to-end production cycle — from sourcing, sampling, and costing to QC and timely delivery. Fabric & Material Mastery: Strong knowledge of textiles, trims, surface techniques, and finishing processes — with the ability to identify quality issues and recommend solutions. Vendor & Supply Coordination: Experience liaising with vendors, mills, and tailors; managing sampling calendars; negotiating costs; and ensuring timely approvals and dispatches. International Communication: Must be well-spoken, fluent, and proficient in English — with the ability to communicate seamlessly with international buyers, partner stores, and third-party platforms. Tech & Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel and other production-management software; knowledge of AI tools for workflow efficiency will be a strong plus.
