Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Social & English Teacher to inspire middle school students (Grades 6-8) in their academic and personal growth. The candidate will teach Social Studies and English, fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and an appreciation for literature and history. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and encouraging a love for learning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver lesson plans for Social Studies and English, aligned with the curriculum. Teach topics such as history, geography, civics, and English literature/language skills. Create an interactive classroom environment to enhance student engagement. Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams. Guide students in improving their reading, writing, and analytical skills. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary teaching methods. Communicate with parents to provide updates on student progress and address concerns. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Education, English, Social Studies, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred). 2-5 years of teaching experience in Social Studies and/or English at the middle school level. Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum standards (or relevant board). Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel academically and creatively.
