Job Description

Job Summary: The Head of HR will lead and manage the Human Resources function for the company, ensuring the efficient recruitment, training, and retention of high-quality security personnel and administrative staff. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of labor laws, especially those related to the security industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. Establish policies and procedures to support a disciplined and motivated workforce. Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership. 2. Talent Acquisition & Deployment Oversee recruitment of security guards, supervisors, and administrative staff. Ensure thorough background checks and verification processes. Manage workforce planning for client requirements and mobilization. 3. Training & Development Implement training programs for security personnel, focusing on compliance, safety, and client-specific protocols. Identify skill gaps and arrange refresher and upskilling sessions. 4. Compliance & Labor Law Ensure compliance with labor laws (e.g., ESI, PF, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments Act). Handle inspections and coordinate with legal counsel as needed. 5. Employee Relations & Welfare Resolve grievances promptly and maintain employee satisfaction. Oversee welfare initiatives, attendance, and shift planning for field staff. 6. Performance Management Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems. Recommend promotions, disciplinary actions, or terminations as necessary. 7. HR Operations & Administration Maintain HR records including contracts, ID cards, and deployment history. Manage payroll inputs and HRMS/ERP systems. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). 8–15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a security or manpower services company. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of labor compliance and contract staffing Ability to handle a field-based workforce Leadership and conflict resolution Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office and HR software Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per year Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Fixed shift Weekend availability Weekend only Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
