Job Title: High School Chemistry Teacher Location: Narayana Etechno school, Vellore Board Affiliation: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Grade Levels: Classes 6 to 10 Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction to high school students (Grades 6–10) following the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will inspire a love for Chemistry, foster scientific curiosity, and prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance tests. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons according to the CBSE syllabus and the school's academic calendar. Develop and implement creative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with CBSE standards. Evaluate and grade students’ assignments, tests, experiments, and lab work. Maintain up-to-date records of students’ academic performance and progress. Provide constructive feedback and conduct remedial classes as needed. Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations, internal assessments, and competitive exams like NEET/JEE. Participate in curriculum development, staff meetings, workshops, and school events. Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment. Communicate regularly with parents about students' progress and address academic concerns. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – mandatory . Master’s Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) – preferred . Skills and Attributes: Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and recent developments in Chemistry education. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into teaching. Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students. Proficient in conducting practical lab sessions safely and effectively. Experience: 2–5 years of teaching Chemistry at the secondary or senior secondary level in CBSE-affiliated schools. Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills are also encouraged to apply. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 31/05/2025
